- James E. McLoughlin is the principal engineer at Commonwealth Design. He has over 45 years experience in the design and construction industry. Included in his portfolio are over 50 subdivisions for Single Family Homes, Multifamily Communities, Shopping Centers, Industrial Parks and numerous stand-alone site developments.
- He is responsible for the design and construction of hundreds of miles of roads and associated infrastructure as well as thousands of residential units and millions of square feet of commercial and industrial space.
- Additional accomplishments include the design and construction of several major infrastructure projects, including: Public Water Supply, Town-wide Sewer Interceptors, Pre-Cast Bridges and Culverts, Coastal Revetments and Sea Walls, as well as State Highway Improvement Projects.
